I was discussing this recently with someone who runs his own small business online and feels that he's not understood by those around him. He's surrounded by what he calls "factory workers" - people who just stick to the daily plod, the nine to five. Who regard that as a virtue and don't appreciate or approve of anything or anyone who is doing anything different to that.

It's perfect for checking out places that you're interested in for whatever reason, be it to visit, or just out of curiosity, doing a bit of armchair travel on the spur of the moment. Like many people, I occasionally also use Streetview to take a look back at places where I used to hang out, places I've visited and places where I used to live and to see what they look like now and how they compare with when I used to know them.
