kevin003 About meHi, my name’s Kevin Wells.

I’m an entrepreneur and a dedicated enthusiast of helping people break out of the nine to five to do much more with their lives.

At the start of 2010, after many years spent working for companies large and small, I took the decision to quit, break out and create something better.

I quit my job, moved to another country, and launched my own business.

I’m now doing what I really want.  I now have freedom and control over my life and work. I’m learning more every day than I have done for years.

It’s a great feeling and very exciting.

I believe in doing things differently. I believe in being entrepreneurial. And I’d like to help you do the same.

About BreakingOut.NET

BreakingOut.NET is basically my blog about my life as an entrepreneur.

It’s also intended to help inspire you and serve as a practical resource to also help you break out of the corporate nine-to-five existence and get more out of your life.

A lot of people are dissatisfied and fed up with the conventional options and paths on offer to them.

Study at university and graduate with a massive debt burden. Write CVs and job applications to get a so-called “good job” with a large corporation where you spend your days having meetings and sitting in a cubicle in front of a computer.

Basically doing other people’s grunt work – regardless of what level you occupy within the organization. Being thrown a few weeks vacation each year.  And taking on a hefty mortgage to buy a house – yet more debt.

There has to be more to life…

There are plenty of alternatives if you are willing to take action and accept a little risk in life. There’s no need for you to have to settle for mediocrity!

You can quit the 9 to 5 and do more with your life. You can travel, learn languages, emigrate, teach English or other skills abroad, go freelance, start your own business….

In particular, right now it’s never been easier to launch your own online business.

It’s really not difficult to get out of the rut. The very first step is simply to resolve to make the change.

Once you’ve decided to break out, the rest is actually easy. It starts with your own mindset!

BreakingOut.NET is a “work-in-progress”, so things may be a little chaotic and disorganized at times.

But I hope that you’ll stick with it and accompany me on my journey.  I hope that it will also inspire you to take steps to break out and create something better in your own life.

    Good article Kevin.

I’ve been off the hamster wheel for almost two years now, had some ups and downs, but things are looking up.

    Keep up the good work

Hi Sasha, great to hear you’ve also quit the hamster wheel.

Once you commit yourself to something, things start to slowly fall into place and you find yourself moving in a different direction.
